Richard’s work covers all aspects of land agency with particular expertise in Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC) agency and financial work. He also sells the fat cattle at Ross Market.
Richard graduated from Reading University with a degree in land management in 1982, where he was awarded the Strutt and Parker Prize as the top student in the degree in this year.
He commenced his training with the Devon-based auctioneering firm Kivells, before returning to Coles Knapp and Kennedy in 1983, and Ross market. Here, he qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1984 and a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers in 1985.
William has worked for RG and RB Williams from a young age and is now a partner within the firm.
His role is diverse, being involved and conducting weekly sales of livestock and farm dispersal sales.
Also responsible for his family mixed farm in north Monmouthshire, William offers a practical approach to his professional work. William takes a lead on the management of the market and has a keen interest in developing livestock sales, having been named Marts the Heart new auctioneer of the year in 2016.
An agent for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation, he is also a registered valuer for the Animal and Plant Health Agency.
William attended Harper Adams University where he graduated with a 2.1 degree in rural enterprise and land management in 2015 and is a fully qualified chartered surveyor.
